Great to hear about your new digs. Miss you, too. Just so you know about the eating by yourself thing...I was invited to one of my Vietnamese student's homes for dinner and when I arrived, everyone was very hospitable and friendly but when it was time to eat, they brought out dinner and sat me down in front of it and then everyone sat on the sides of the room to watch me eat it! Did I feel uncomfortable. No one ate anything. I never did figure it out but it just was....I find it fascinating to learn about how different cultures operate...sometimes, I realize how fortunate I am to be female in the US; sometimes, I see a greater acceptance of aging or sexualityh or aging....lots to learn, Eileen...you seem to be very observant.
